Beginners Pitching Clinic 3pm

Avery has been a starting varsity pitcher for the Forest Lake Rangers since 7th grade. Previously, she played for FLAFA for four years from 8U-12U. She has been a State Tournament attendee for the last 5 years in a row. Based on all her hard work, she carries a state championship, 2 runner-up titles, as well as a 3rd and 4th place title at the State Games within the last few years. Avery has received 5 All-Section 7AAAA awards, 4 All-Suburban East conference awards, and 3 4A All-State awards. During the 2023 & 2025 season, she was also placed on the State All-Tournament team. She has been a varsity captain for 3 years in a row and loves to fill the leadership role. 

Avery will wrap up her time as a Ranger this spring during her senior season but continue her softball career at the University of St. Thomas, where she will continue playing Division 1 college softball and majoring in business.

Karianne Drury has been a Forest Lake Ranger Varsity Starter since 8^th grade. She is a Varsity Senior Captain who loves to lead by example and being a loud voice to help guide her teammates on the field. Karianne has been a catcher throughout her FLAFA career from 8U-12U and continues to love playing the catcher position. She has been a State Participant for 4 years in a row and has contributed to the team winning a state championship, 1 runner-up title, as well as a 3^rd and 4^th place title. Throughout her High School career she has received 3 SEC Outstanding Athletic Achievement All Conference award, 1 MFCA All State 1rst Team AAAA, 1 Conference MFCA All Section Award, and other MVP awards throughout her years. 

After the High School season, she has committed to continue her softball career playing Division 1 at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where she will major in Psychology.

FLAFA has asked our star players of the High School team to come and give some of their time training our players! Avery Muellner will be hosting the pitching clinic, and Kariann Drury will instruct a catching clinic. As you read through their bio's, they have lots of talent to offer our players! The clinics will be held at the High School field on the following dates: June 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th. The clinic times will be based on beginner vs advanced in both pitching and catching. For all 6 session dates, the clinics will be at 3pm for the beginners of each group, and 4pm for those advanced pitchers and catchers. Side notes: pitchers please bring someone to catch for you and catchers please bring your gear. We are requesting that you pay the instructor directly through their venmo that is under each of their softball biographies. Please use this link to register so that I can keep track of the numbers in each group. Maximum of 8 players in each group so space is limited, sign up now! If the registration fills, send me an email at president@flafa.org and we can figure out if more sessions are needed.
