Coaches Bio

Angie Ryan,

I graduated from Forest Lake High School in 2000 and played on the high school basketball and softball teams.  As a sophomore we got 4th place in the state, as a junior we got 6th place in state, and as a senior we placed 2nd after making it to the state championship softball game.

Prior to that I played school and traveling softball (for FLAFA) from 4th grade through 10th grade.  I went on to play collegiate softball for St. Cloud State University and played shortstop every game for the Huskies for all four years.  We were continually ranked as a top Division II team and won the conference championship 3 times and placed 3rd in the nation during my senior year.  2005 was my first year as a head softball coach and I absolutely loved it, we finished the season 8-13.  2007 is shaping up to be a good year and I hope to instill some of the passion I have for the game of softball in the Forest Lake athletes!
